2.2L Fuel Injected I-6
*Classic Investments Owner – Stephen Bell’s Personal Vehicle Last 6 Years
The W111 chassis from Mercedes Benz was a revolutionary vehicle in many ways. These are the LAST of the Mercedes Hand-Built cars and have become highly desirable for many of their groundbreaking and timelessly beautiful attributes. With such features as the first-ever front and rear “crumple zones,” 3-point seat-belts and a very well refined and softened interior, these vehicles were designed around passenger safety first, while retaining the legacy of Mercedes performance, comfort and style.
This vehicle has been (Classic Investments Owner) Mr. Bell’s own driver for the last six years and is in excellent running condition. With no rust or smoke, this coupe is a regular driver in great mechanical health. Previously, this 220 was part of a large Mercedes Benz collection owned by a local gentleman who ran an independent service shop for German cars. The beautiful two-tone paint is in good condition with only minor cosmetic blemishes from years of service. The remarkable original interior is a highlight, as well. With optional bucket seat up front and rare optioned buckets in the rear, the factory materials have held up well during the course of this car’s life and are still usable for regular drives and events where the longevity of Mercedes Benz craftsmanship can be rewarded with recognition.
