1967 Sunbeam Alpine

1967 Sunbeam Alpine

This vehicle was completed near the end of 2012 and delivered to the one and only owner. Have a look at the pictures below to get a sense of the quality and pride Classic Investments puts into every single restoration. With the gorgeous Italian leather interior, upgraded engine and transmission, and beautiful new trim and wheels, this British classic will bring smiles for years down the road.

A customer car which was brought to us for restoration. The car has undergone paintwork, and a Ford 2.8L V6 engine conversion, which will make for a head-turning  combination. The newer Ford V6 is actually the same weight as the original 4 cylinder engine, so handling and braking won’t be noticeably altered or diminished in any way. The transmission has also been replaced with a modern Tremec T-5, 5 speed manual transmission. Considering the power to weight ratio the new engine will bring to the car and the performance gear ratios in the T-5, this car performs better than ever–especially with the new Michelin touring tires adorning all four corners.

As this vehicle had not been involved in an accident, the paint work was very straight forward. Our expert team of body and paint specialists smoothed out a few small defects that had occurred over the years and now there is not a wrinkle or wave in sight. This car is straight as an arrow!

The interior of this car was completely redone with wool carpeting and Italian leather seats and console. A new canvas top was added and looks terrific against the sparkling silver paint and bright red interior. Lots of new chrome was added, including; a new set of 5, 60 spoke chrome knock-on wheels from MWS, mouth trim, bumpers… and the badges were cleaned up and hand painted for that special finishing touch.
