Considered to be one of the most beautiful Grand Touring cars of all time, The Maserati Ghibli was designed by the man who was named the Car Designer of the Century,  Giorgetto Giugiaro, during his time with the design house Ghia. Named after a North African desert wind, the Ghibli is truly a masterpiece of design with some of the best proportions ever conceived on a front engine automobile. The stunning looks are not the Ghibli’s only winning attribute. Equipped with  a powerful 4.7 liter V8 engine, the Ghibli is fast enough to compete with any grand touring car of its era. With its V8 engine, the sound of a Ghibli at full throttle is as alluring as the car’s incredible aesthetics.

This example is a particularly special one. Found just recently by Stephen Bell, this car has a unique history that led it to Classic Investments with under 20,000 original miles and only two owners from new. Some minor tuning by our crack-team of specialists has put the engine back at her best and running perfectly. With original paint, interior, exhaust system, Borrani Wire wheels and even the factory original tires (!), this beautifully maintained GT was just shown at the inaugural Arizona Concours d’Elegance and won an award in “Preservation Class!” An unusually clean and dry example, this is a car that retains not only value but a rare and dignified character.
