1967 Maserati Ghibli

Found literally in a barn 10 miles out of Lincoln Nebraska in 2006 by Stephen Bell owner of Classic Investments.

The owner of the Ghibli and his mistress were driving 20yrs earlier through Nebraska from New York bound for Las Vegas. A mechanical mishap laid them up in Ne so they left it with a local repair facility to fix. A kind gentleman with whom I acquired it from said he was storing it for the lost owners of over 20 yrs. He tracked down owners brother in India and he said his brother was deceased and that he had no interest in that car.

Got him to sign over some title papers and I acquired the car for $5,000.

In 2009 Stephen decided it had sat long enough and started a major cosmetic restoration on it.

The car currently is getting it's interior fitted.

The car had New York plates on it and under the front one was the original Italian pate telling us this Ghibli had originated out of Torino.

June 6th 2010: Maserati enters it's first all Italian Calssic Car show "Automezzie" and comes away with "Peoples Choice" first place.

Post show final restoration details are taking place. Car will be test driven and used for promotional purposes around Cherry Creek, Cherry Hills and downtown Denver this summer.
