*Highly Original With Fresh Service by Ferrari Specialists
*3 Owner Car with History From New
When it debuted at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon, the 328 didn’t immediately represent a radical departure from the already well-known 308GTS/GTB. Designed by the Pininfarina aerodynamic specialist, Leonardo Fioravanti (512BB, F40, 288GTO, 365 Daytona, among others), the car sported many unseen features such as the enhanced engine, gearbox and brakes. Keen-eyed observers will note the larger (now single) vents on the front deck-lid, Rosso Corsa matching bumpers and slightly altered interior layout and aesthetics. Weighing in at slightly more than its predecessor, the car now boasted 270bhp which allowed sprints to 60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 163mph. One of the finest points of this car, however, is the famed reliability experienced by owners – a dividend which pays out in maintenance frequency as well as overall cost.
This car accumulated the majority of her 19,000 miles in the first 10 years, averaging only 2k/year. Purchased new in southern California, the second owner acquired the car less than a year later and continued residency in the Los Angeles area. Maintenance was kept up to date with service cards stamped and records from Ferrari and specialist service centers detailing everything from oil changes to a 15,000 mile belt service. Records include California SMOG reports; of which all passed. Car is complete with books and tools. Fresh service to include: tires, fuel pump, engine and gearbox lubrication, cooling flush, shift shaft seals, wiper blades, battery, fuel injection tuning and function check of all items. This ready driver with low miles is an impeccable investment opportunity for the true Ferrari enthusiast!
